About Us

The Music Abode Collective began as a private music lesson business and has since grown into much more. Our teachers are in agreement to work together to benefit students with the gift of music in our community. Being in a collective as opposed to a conventional community music school model brings greater financial independence to teachers and encourages more direct and fruitful communication between parents, teachers, and students.

As part of the Collective, teachers are able to pool their resources and skill sets in order to offer highly professional recitals, masterclasses, and outreach events. The Collective also gives teachers and students alike a chance to collaborate and spread the joy of music out in the community through live performance, studio recording opportunities, and much more. Sharing overhead costs as a collective rather than through a third-party private company allows teachers to be more focused on their students. The Collective does not collect fees or membership dues from teachers or students. All of the tuition costs go directly and fully to the teachers.

Mission Statement

The Music Abode Collective is a group of like-minded, professional musicians and educators collaborating to offer more individualized, comprehensive music education for our community.
